Themes In Conceptual Film

I decided to look into the invention and fantasy film for my writing. One of this themes most famous artists was Heironymus Bosch, the artist who created The Garden of Earthly Delights. In this painting there was hundreds of nude humans, giant plants, and animals both known and unknown to us. There also seems to be creatures that are only part human and part plant. While many of his works are influenced by religion and early literature, folklore as well as astrology, only through pure creativity could he have the capacity to create such a piece.

Another artist was Henri Rousseau, who worked in France in the late 19th and early 20th century. His final work, The Dream, featured a nude woman sitting on a sofa with no seat, several wild animals and birds that you would never actually see coexist in nature. Even though the landscape also made no sense, he put so much detail into every leaf on every tree. Everything about the painting was mostly made up along the way, and while it didn't seem real to anyone else, it felt real to him.

This theme eventually lead to movies like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, anything in the fantasy and sci-fi genre. In modern day this continues to be a theme that fascinates people and allows us to enter new worlds, utopias, dystopias, and sometimes just other worlds. This theme gives people with a unique touch of creativity to thrive and live out their dreams or even their nightmares. We can also explore other social themes like good versus evil and other such things. There's so much out there for this theme and that's what makes it so interesting, such the reason why it caught my interest.
